#GarudaSelect midfielder, Elia Di Guilomaria, is chosen as Man of the Match by Coach Dennis in the match against Manchester City Youth Academy, Tuesday (11/5) evening WIB.
"I chose Elia because he played very well in the second half. He was able to close down the opponent's movements and tried to change things for us. He worked hard and was not afraid to fight," Coach Dennis explained.
The match ended with a 4-0 victory for Manchester City. In the first half, City scored three goals. Elia himself regrets the performance of #GarudaSelect in the first half, saying that it must become a lesson for the #GarudaSelect players.
"I played normally in the first half, even though I believe I could have played better. But, in the second half, I think I played better. I did not make many mistakes like in the first half," said Elia.
"This is a fair result because we played poorly in the first half. If we had started the match like in the second half, when we played much more organized, I believe we could win the match," he continued.
"We have to be more focused and we should not be afraid even though they are a big club. We just need to fully concentrate on ourselves and play as usual," said Elia.
